Eden Community Recycling is a Not-for-Profit company that grew out of a voluntary group, Eden Charity Recycling.

From one collection point in Penrith’s fire station car park in 1981, we have grown to have our own depot and recycling centres across Eden and South Lakeland.

All proceeds from our recycling activities go into improving ourfacilities and services and trialing new initiatives

(plastics, foil & beverage cartons). 

We also support schools and community groups by giving out

grants from our surplus profits.

We have now grown to be able to offer a full range of recyclingservices to assist businesses throughout Cumbria with either acollection service provided by us or they can use the bring to usscheme which was designed around what our customers want.
